It's been decided already. Twenty-four pages in and I know. This. Is one of my favourite books ever. I always knew I loved the story. Adventure and mystery and imagination have always been my thing. But this book is also absolutely hilarious! I appreciate the witty and sarcastic humour of both Alice, and Lewis the author. I am enjoying this book very much.
I have gotten a couple quotes out of it already.
'(Alice was)... Considering whether the pleasure of making a daisey-chain would be worth the trouble of getting up and picking the daisies.'
This made me laugh. I seem to share much of the same thought pattern of this Alice, and I can see myself being in such a predicament myself.
'She generally gave herself good advice, though she seldom followed it.'
Who hasn't fallen victim to this one time or another. Such a truth.
